There She Worships - Victory Over COPD

(She felt unexplained weakness sometime in 2002, which persisted and aggravated until it was confirmed by a specialist that her upper lungs were infected with the virulent Tubercle Bacilli that was already in the advanced stage.  She worshipped.
The regular treatment was home confined.  Before six months she was clinically free of the disease but the medications left her emaciated, abstracted, frail and irritable. Still she worshipped.
Despite the limitations she was able to do household chores, but was very sensitive to all odors, smoke, air pollution, heat, weather fluctuations, and ground fumes.  But still she worshipped.
Pneumonia infected her in 2005.  She was confirmed infected with COPD – Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, specifically emphysema, a progressive, destructive disease, common to smokers. This stopped her from attending regular church services.  Yet, when opportunity arises, she worshipped.
Shortness of breath limited her from singing and praising . . . but she worshipped).

THERE SHE WORSHIPS - as the mp3 playlist starts withAs we gather may your Spirit work within us ….
(She was hospitalized a number of times since then.  Brethren and her children in the Lord would flock in the hospital and with them she worshipped).
THERE SHE WORSHIPS - thanking the Lord for the healing of the chest congestion which she suffered for years: “Breathe upon me breathe of God, breathe upon me Spirit of the Lord, as I lay my life in surrender to Your Name, Most High …. “
(She celebrated her birthday in 2011 in the hospital.  Brethren and her children in the Lord would visit her in the hospital and with them she worshipped.
She celebrated Christmas of 2011 in the hospital.  Brethren and her children in the Lord would sing to her in the hospital and with them she worshipped.
Steroids were administered to her along with other medications. This left her         with so many complications, the more severe of which are heart palpitations, nightmares, irregular sleeping patterns and symptoms of depression. She completely lost her balance and posture and cannot walk unassisted.
She would often have questions … “OLIGOPISTOS” (little faith)… she would usually mutter. She refers to herself as a baby, barely able to attend to her personal necessities.
But in between pursed-lips breathing, with panting whispers … she would worship.

She spent most of the time in the room with the air-con on, with back-up oxygen  therapy, availing of the needed sunlight only in the morning through the glass windows.
She was confined in the hospital again in May for 6 days. Steroids were used, but in reduced dosage. This time, the complications were minor.
Brethren and her children in the Lord would pray in the hospital and with them she worshipped).
“By His wounds you had been healed” (1 Peter 2:24 NIV).
Then at around 0900H 20 June 2012, the most unexpected thing happened. I was teaching our daughter Pearl, the guitar accompaniment of “As We Gather/The Steadfast Love Of The Lord” for her Bible study that evening, Evelyn was standing next to us, laughing aloud, her face flushing with life – evidently she walked out of the room unassisted.  SHE REGAINED HER BALANCE AND POSTURE! IT HAS BEEN SIX MONTHS!
To our astonishment, she started singing the songs Pastor Siegfred Castillo introduced when she was born again in 1992.
She started with “Breath Upon Me Breath Of God,” followed by “Create Upon Me A Clean Heart,” followed by several others.
THERE SHE WORSHIPS THE FAITHFUL GOD. There is Rejoicing in the house of the Lord – how her children rejoiced that she walks again – and they worshipped.
THERE SHE WORSHIPS THE HEALING GOD – “I am the God that healeth thee.”
She worships the healing Jesus.
Mal 4:2  “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.”

There She Worships the Good God
Sister Wilma texed her that they picture her fully healed… and she worshipped.
There She Worships the Loving God
She dreams the Lord touching her, completing her healing… and she worshipped.
There she worships the Omnipotent God
She receives her full anointing for full-time service … and she worships.

THERE SHE WORSHIPS. Do we see a replay of the miracle in the Gate Beautiful in Acts 3:8, where the paralytic … “leaping up stood, and walked … walking, and leaping, and praising God.”

27 June 2012, exactly one week after the miracle, Pastor Joel and Wilma Degoma, and Rosalinda, a new sister in the Lord, visited her. Evelyn sang with them, prayed with them, and worshipped with them. She rededicated herself, repeating her commitment: “Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee” (Hebrews 2:12).

THERE SHE WORSHIPS.
She worships the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
She worships the LORD.
She worships . . . she worships … she worships the
   LORD.

2 weeks later, Pastors Benjamin Huelar and Ernie Pacit together with Brother Marte Fantilanan, dropped by, and with them she worshipped.

The relative humidity at the advent of the rainy season had been very high for several days, that she had breathing difficulty. She was admitted to Don Benito hospital last 16 September. The prayer team of the Full Gospel Church, with Rodelyn Malones, visited her. And with them she worshipped.
She worshipped with Pastor Ed Infante, who visited her. Pastor Ed now leads the Bible Study at Puricare Industrial Enterprises at Aganan.
