What About Sex?
Written by Spencer Patrick
Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. (1 Cor. 6:18 NKJV)
Everywhere you turn, someone is talking about sex. Sex is short for sexual intercourse which is part of the intimate relationship between the husband and wife. It is not a physical exercise, it is not something that people want to do as a part of the so-called "dating process."
Sex is sacred.
Why is it that we are permeated with sexual things in our media? Why is it that you cannot turn the channel on secular TV station in the United States and watch a sit-com (situational comedy) that doesn’t have a sexual innuendo? Why is it that when you take the train in Tokyo, you have to see images of women with oversized busts or weekly magazine adverts that try to sell copies of their magazines with "Sex" written on it?

WIFEY WEDNESDAY: CAN CHRISTIANS USE SEX TOYS?
By Sheila
Today I want to tackle a rather controversial subject. Except “want” is really not the right word. I’d love to run as far away from this one as possible. But I keep being asked about sex toys, and so I thought it was necessary.
I want to make it clear from the outset, though, that I am giving my opinion. I do not claim to speak for God. When I was researching The Good Girl’s Guide to Great Sex, I had to think about this and give my opinion, and I did. So what I have to say has been the conclusion that I have come to after speaking at marriage conferences, reading, and praying. So here goes.

A new survey into the sex lives of young women in Britain today has revealed that two out of three have experimented with bondage and spanking, a favourite pastime of EL James’ fictional lothario Christian Grey.
More! magazine’s biggest ever sex survey questioned 2,340 women aged 18-24 and the results, printed in this week’s issue, reveal the truth about the sex lives of young women living the UK.

Why So Many Women Yearn to Be Wives
Despite the fact that it's the twenty-first century and women can earn their own money, go to a sperm bank to have a child and lead a satisfying social life without a man, the role of wife remains compelling.
Young women are more self-assured than ever, not necessarily in search of a boyfriend and comfortable focusing on their own goals. They know that sex can be a sport and men can be adjunct, perhaps fungible. Yet what I've found is that at a certain point for these women, usually by their mid to late-twenties, being engaged and getting married becomes important.

The Scarlet Manifesto: The Rise of the Adulterous Woman
Back when I was in college, there were rules for the female students. We had to wear skirts to meals. Curfew was strict, broken under threat of expulsion -- or worse. Naturally, boys were not allowed into our rooms. These maxims were designed to "protect" us women -- we who were so easily taken advantage of, so at risk of being romantically duped -- not to mention reinforce the idea that we were expected to act in a certain way.
Which was fine. In those days, many girls, and their parents, thought of college as a means to a husband. (So many of my contemporaries who achieved that end are now divorced, some more than once.) Now, although finding a mate at college is still common -- and there are certainly Ivy League graduates who decide to make their lives as mothers and homemakers -- it's no longer what secondary education is about. Away at college, young people live in dorms in which male and female students share common areas, bathrooms, and even, at times, sleeping rooms. Sex is not necessarily part of the equation. And when it is? Well, we are, after all, talking about adults. But the bigger shift is one of perception: If there is any sort of expectation of "propriety," it is imposed on the guys as much as on the girls.

Men dream about sex

No surprise here, men are more likely than women to dream about sex. And comparing notes in the morning may not be a turn on for either guys or gals, as women are more likely to have experienced nightmares, according to doctoral research reported in 2009 by psychologist Jennie Parker of the University of the West of England.

And now that it's here, and I'm looking at it, it's a little gross. But endearingly gross. For a much better and more exhaustive look at the merits and career of Alex Comfort, M.B., Ph.D., I would refer you to Ariel Levy's delightful New Yorker piece from 2009. For a wry fictional take on what it would be like to be the children of the book's authors, you should pick up Meg Wolitzer's The Position, in which the Comforts become the Mellows, and it does not go well for them.

I’ve been with my partner for 12 years and but there has been no intimacy between us for most of that time
By Coleen Nolan
Dear Coleen,
I’ve been with my partner for 12 years and, this may shock you, but there has been no intimacy between us for most of that time. I can count on my hands the times it has happened.

10 films that drive women to the theaters and drive men crazy
by Kim Morgan
Special to MSN Movies
Sorry guys, but cinema just wouldn't be the same without movies for and about women. And we don't just mean movies about pretty women, but all women and their issues -- something many guys don't usually have the patience for in real life. That's what sisters are for, right?

How To Win Him Back From The Other Woman
This is for my friend, I am charm, whose husband has left her and their child and is off having his affair with the other woman.
The statistics for an affair actually working out are very low, I think it is less than 2% of affairs actually turn into marriages, it is most likely not going to work out between him and the other woman, and it probably won’t even last past a year. This is good news for a wife who wants her husband to return to their family. However, you have many disadvantages on your side right now to work through.
How To Be A Sexy Christian Wife
I’m slowly developing my own philosophy on what a marriage blog should be about. I really like the Red Pill Philosophy written by Athol Kay of MMSL,
Red Pill Philosophy (Sexy Christian Wife style):
Men need to be alpha (manly, attractive, dominant, teasing, financially stable, the captain of their marriage, physically fit, entertaining) and beta (kind, servant-like, loving, good father, responsible)
Women need to be alpha (pretty, crazy into sex, feminine, physically fit, entertaining) and beta (keeps home clean, cooks meals, kind, loving, respectful to husband, submissive, good mother, responsible)

Flowers that Get You In the Mood for Love
An extravagant bouquet of your favorite blooms, hand-delivered by your honey, might indeed make your thoughts turn to love…and lovemaking. But there’s another way that blossoms can put you in the mood for romance—because flower-derived oral remedies called “essences” and topical essential oils can enhance libido naturally.
